The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
