Or, do those who have a disease in their hearts think that Allah will not reveal their hatred? 29 And if We willed, We would surely shew them unto thee, so that thou shouldst surely know them by their marks. And thou shalt surely know them by the mode of their speech. And Allah knoweth your works. 30 We shall certainly test you until We know those who strive hard for the cause of God and those who exercise patience. We will also examine your deeds. 31 Lo! those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and oppose the messenger after the guidance hath been manifested unto them, they hurt Allah not a jot, and He will make their actions fruitless. 32 O People who Believe! Obey Allah and obey the Noble Messenger, and do not render your deeds void. 33 ۞ Verily, as for those who are bent on denying the truth and on barring [others] from the path of God, and then die as deniers of the truth - indeed, God will not grant them forgiveness! 34 So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds. 35 The life of this world is but play and an amusement. If you believe and are cautious, He will give you your wage, and will not ask for your possessions. 36 If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness. 37 There you are! You are called upon to spend in the Way of Allah. Some of you are mean; yet whoever is mean is mean only to his own soul. Allah is the Rich and you are the poor. If you turn away, He will replace you with another nation, and they will not be like you. 38
