And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
