I swear by that which ye see. 38 And that which ye see not. 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
