Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
