Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
