[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
