We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night.
