Hallowed is He who, if it be His will, shall give thee something better than that [whereof they speak] - gardens through which running waters flow - and shall assign to thee mansions [of bliss in the life to come]. 10 Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: 11 Even if they were to see [this fire] from a distant place, they would only listen to its raging and roaring. 12 And when they are flung into a strait place thereof, bound up, they shall call therein unto death. 13 But they will be told, "Do not call today for one death, call for many deaths!" 14 Say, "Which is better, this or the Paradise of immortality which the righteous have been promised? It is their recompense and their destination." 15 Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled. 16 And on the Day whereon He will gather them and that which they worship beside Allah and will say: are ye the ones who sent astray these My bondmen; or strayed they themselves from the way? 17 They will say: "Glorified be You! It was not for us to take any Auliya' (Protectors, Helpers, etc.) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss). 18 Thus will your gods deny alI that you are professing today. Then you shall neither be able to repel your punishment nor shall get any help from anywhere; and whoso is guilty. of iniquity'' among you, We shall make him taste a severe torment. 19 And We have not sent before thee any of the sent ones but verily they ate food and walked about in the market places. And We have made some of you unto some others a temptation; will ye have patience? And thy Lord is ever a Beholder. 20
