Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves 69 Enter Paradise, you and your kinds, delighted." 70 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). 71 this is the Garden which you will inherit by virtue of your past deeds, 72 Herein you will have abundant fruits of which you will eat.” 73 Indeed the criminals will stay in the punishment of hell forever. 74 It will not decrease for them; dumb with despair they will stay in it. 75 We did not wrong them, but they were harmdoers. 76 And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry. 77 We have certainly brought the truth to you: but most of you have an aversion for the truth. 78 Or have they plotted some plan? Then We too are planning. 79 Bethink they that We hear not their secrets and whispers? Yea! We do, and Our messengers present with them write down. 80 Say: "If Ar-Rahman had a son I would have been the first of worshippers." 81 Hallowed be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe! 82 So let them thou alone wading and sporting until they meet the Day which they are promised. 83 And it is Allah who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise, the Knowing. 84 And Most Auspicious is He, for Whom is the kingship of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; and only with Him is the knowledge of the Last Day; and towards Him you are to return. 85 And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly. 86 Now if thou ask those [who worship any being other than God] as to who it is that has created them, they are sure to answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 So turn away from them and say, Peace, for they shall soon come to know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
