▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
