Say thou: I simply call upon Allah, and I associate not with Him any-one. 20 Say: I do not control for you evil or good. 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 if I should fail to convey [to the world whatever illumination comes to me] from God and His messages." Now as for him who rebels against God and His Apostle - verily, the fire of hell awaits him, therein to abide beyond the count of time. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28
