Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
