The people of Lot denied the messengers 160 When their brother Lut said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 161 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 except an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Thereafter We annihilated the rest. 172 And We rained on them a rain. And dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. 173 Surely in this there is a sign: but most of them would not believe: 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
