Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. 2 Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 When the eye is bewildered, 7 And the moon becomes dark, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]! 11 Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day. 12 To man will be declared on that Day that which he hath sent on and left behind. 13 Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Do not forestall (the revelation before its completion) by acting in haste. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life, 20 And leave (neglect) the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 But when [man's soul] reaches the throat, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 and when he thinks it is the time of departure 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 on that Day he will be driven towards your Lord! 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
