Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
