Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
