Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the midday brightness 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
