And the disbelievers said, “Do not listen to this Qur’an and engulf it in noise – perhaps you may be victorious this way.” 26 So We shall let the unbelievers taste a terrible chastisement, and shall recompense them with the worst of what they were working. 27 That is the meed of the enemies of Allah: the Fire. Therein is their home of abidance: a meed forasmuch as Our revelations they were wont to gainsay. 28 And the unbelievers shall say, 'Our Lord, show us those that led us astray, both jinn and men, and we shall set them underneath our feet, that they may be among the lower ones. 29 Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. 30 “We are your friends in the life of this world and in the Hereafter; in it for you is all that you may wish for, and for you is all what you ask.” 31 A provision from the Forgiving, the Merciful. 32
