The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth; Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him). 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 It rests with Allah alone to show you the Right Way, even when there are many crooked ways. Had He so willed, He would have (perforce) guided you all aright. 9
