And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
