۞ How many an angel is there in the heavens whose intercession shall not benefit until Allah gives permission to whom He will and is pleased. 26 Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names. 27 They have not any knowledge thereof; they follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth. 28 So turn from those who turn away from Our Remembrance and only desire this present life. 29 which, to them, is the only thing worth knowing. Behold, thy Sustainer is fully aware as to who has strayed from His path, and fully aware is He as to who follows His guidance. 30 To Allah alone belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. He will requite the evil-doers for their deeds and bestow a goodly reward on those who have done good, 31 Those who keep aloof from the great sins and the indecencies but the passing idea; surely your Lord is liberal in forgiving. He knows you best when He brings you forth from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mothers; therefore do not attribute purity to your souls; He knows him best who guards (against evil). 32
