Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until death approached us". 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
