The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
