The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sun and its radiant brightness, 1 And the moon as she follows in his wake, 2 and by the day as it displays the sun's glory, 3 And the night when it enshroudeth him, 4 The heavens and its architecture, 5 and the earth and all its expanse! 6 by the soul and how He formed it, 7 and how it is imbued with moral failings as well as with consciousness of God! 8 Prosperous is he who purifies it, 9 and failed is he who buried it! 10 Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, 11 when the most wicked man among them rose up. 12 The Messenger of God told them, "This is a she-camel, belonging to God. Do not deprive her of her share of water". 13 Then they belied him and they hamstrung her; wherefore their Lord overwhelmed them for their crime, and made it equal. 14 He has no fear of its sequel. 15
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
