۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
