The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
