We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 who has set up another god besides God: cast him into severe punishment" -- 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29
