Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
