And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
