WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 left and right, in numerous groups? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
