And when the envoys came to the family of Lot, 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They said: nay! we have come to thee with that whereof they have been dubitating. 63 We truly tell you that we have brought to you the Truth. 64 Depart with your family in a part of the night and walk behind them and let none of you turn round. Go to a place where you are commanded' 65 We informed him that the unbelievers would be utterly destroyed. 66 The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men). 67 He said, 'These are my guests; put me not to shame, 68 And fear Allah, and humiliate me not. 69 "Did we not restrain you," they said, "from (entertaining) creatures from the outside world?" 70 [Lot] said: "[Take instead] these daughters of mine, if you must do [whatever you intend to do]!" 71 By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they are indeed straying in their intoxication. 72 So the rumbling overtook them (while) entering upon the time of sunrise; 73 And We turned the city upside down, and rained on them stones of hardened lava. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 The place (where this occurred) lies along a known route. 76 surely in that is a sign for believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 So We took vengeance on them. Both are still there on the highway, plain for all to see. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
