The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
