And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
