BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
