The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
