And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
