We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
