Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
