So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
