Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To clear or to warn. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
