The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
