Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 They say, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
