(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 He plunged the villages 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
