We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
