The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and clustered bananas, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
