Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 From the guilty. 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
