Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and removed your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
