▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
