۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
